On 26 September 2025, the LIVERATION project, together with SACSIS, took part in the European Researchers’ Night at the Casa de la Ciencia (CSIC) in Seville, bringing liver cancer research closer to people of all ages.

Over six hours, the team ran an interactive stand featuring two tablets with educational games about the liver’s functions, as well as a human anatomical torso to show its location, main diseases —such as hepatocellular carcinoma— and how LIVERATION is contributing to the development of innovative surgical treatments.

The response was remarkable: 4,450 visitors attended the event, and 343 children took part in the interactive games, learning about liver health in a fun and engaging way.

Through this initiative, LIVERATION and SACSIS strengthened their commitment to science communication, prevention, and citizen engagement in health research.
