The clinical trial of the LIVERATION project continues to progress with the addition of new hospital sites that are now ready to begin patient recruitment.
After completing regulatory procedures and conducting the Site Initiation Visit (SIV), the following hospitals have been officially activated:

• Hôpital Beaujon -
Greece:
• University General Hospital of Larissa
• Metaxa Cancer Hospital -
Spain:
• Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron
These activations mark an important step forward in the implementation of the trial, increasing recruitment capacity and supporting the goal of assessing whether radiofrequency-assisted surgical margin coagulation can reduce local cancer recurrence after liver surgery.
🔜 Additional hospitals will join the study in the coming weeks, further strengthening the collective commitment of the consortium.
