On 6 and 7 October, we held the third in-person annual meeting of LIVERATION in Coimbra, Portugal. SHINE 2Europe was our host, and sixteen people from the project partners came together.
The project is moving forward. We are working with a network of 25 hospitals, and 430 patients are now taking part in the trial. We hope to reach 700 soon.
Over the two days, we reviewed the status of the clinical trial and shared progress on the social evaluation of the intervention: the collection of data on patients’ experience (PREMs and PROMs) and the work of the Living Labs. We also set aside time for communication and dissemination, and for planning the next period.
Behind these figures is teamwork between professionals from different countries and disciplines, and meetings like this make it possible.
The next annual meeting will take place in Seville!
