The LIVERATION project has just reached a significant milestone: 350 patients randomised, representing 50% of the clinical trial’s total recruitment target.
Reaching the halfway point in a multicentre clinical trial of this scale — coordinated across 7 European countries — is no small feat. It is the result of the coordinated work of clinical teams, researchers and project partners over more than two years.
And what comes next is equally relevant: in approximately five months, LIVERATION expects to have the first interim results of the trial. A key moment for the scientific community and, above all, for liver cancer patients awaiting better options after surgery.
The trial continues its course. And every randomised patient brings us one step closer to the answer.
