The clinical trial of the LIVERATION project has reached an important milestone: more than 200 patients have now been recruited to participate in the study.
This European multicentre trial aims to assess whether additional surgical margin coagulation using radiofrequency can reduce local cancer recurrence after liver resection in cases of colorectal liver metastases and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Reaching this number marks significant progress towards the study’s final recruitment goal and reflects the shared commitment to advancing safer and more effective treatments for liver cancer.
