The LIVERATION project enters its second half of execution, having reached 281 recruited patients, which represents more than one-third of the total trial goal.
This level of participation has been achieved after completing the preliminary stages of technical training at the clinical sites and obtaining authorizations from ethics committees in all participating countries. With these initial processes finalized, the clinical trial maintains its activity across the European network to gather the necessary data on treatment efficacy in liver cancer surgery.
Furthermore, the study continues its growth phase, with additional hospitals and clinical centers expected to join the consortium in the coming months. This expansion of the clinical network will strengthen patient recruitment and consolidate the research’s reach across different European regions, ensuring a more extensive and diverse medical collaboration framework.

We have reached 281 patients across our clinical network, surpassing the project’s midpoint.
